QTL
Biosystems
website
QTL Biosystems is a supplier of amplification technologies for Drug
Discovery and HTS. The QTL LIGHTSPEED™ assays ("QTL" stands for
"quencher-tether-ligand") couple a quencher molecule with a fluorescent polymer
chain. Each quencher alters fluorescence of several hundred fluorophores. The
enhanced fluorescent activity of "QTL" enables the end user greater
sensitivity, specificity, less time to results, and material cost savings. QTL
Biosystems has applied our novel QTL LIGHTSPEED™ technology to Protease
and Kinase assays. The QTL Lightspeed technology provides a single-step,
instantaneous, homogeneous assay where the amplification step is intrinsic to
the fluorescent polymer. The polymer QTL approach provides a system for
effective sensing of biological agents by observing fluorescence changes.

IDBS
website
IDBS works with discovery organisations to maximise the value of research data,
by providing software solutions to capture, manage and use biological and
chemical information in an integrated framework. IDBS delivers complete — and
proven — applications that bridge the gap between IT and science. IDBS’
ActivityBase is a suite of products for data management in HTS, high content
screening, multiple full dose response determinations, lead optimisation, ADME,
toxicology, pharmacology and inventory tracking. IDBS is also innovating in the
areas of in silico screening and prediction. Headquartered in Guildford, United
Kingdom, the company has offices in Emeryville, California; Parsippany, New
Jersey; and Cambridge, Massachusetts.
