Anders Heding is Head of Department of Molecular Screening at 7TM Pharma (Copenhagen, Denmark). 7TM Pharma is a drug discovery company focusing on 7TM receptors (GPCRs) as targets.

Prior to joining 7TM Pharma Dr. Heding worked as Research scientist at Novo Nordisk A/S (Bagsværd, Denmark), Department of New Lead Discovery. This work was focused on establishing and developing new high throughput screening (HTS) assays.

Dr. Heding previously worked as Post doctorial fellow at the MRC, Reproductive Biology Unit, Edinburgh, United Kingdom. This work was focused on structure function studies on 7TM receptors and ß-arrestin (1996 – 1999). His Ph.D. training was done at the Hagedorn Research Institute, Novo Nordisk (Gentofte, Denmark) and at the Technical University of Denmark. In 1991 Dr. Heding received a degree as Chemical engineer at the Danish Technical University (MS).
